Corporate Housing is the best choice in accommodations for business travelers on short and long-term assignment or relocating for work. With more space and amenities than other extended stay options, you’ll feel at ease knowing everything you need is right there in your apartment.

Oakwood Worldwide has partnered with USC to provide a successful corporate housing program through its two brands Oakwood® and ExecuStay®. You will be housed in a fully-furnished apartment, equipped with the necessary housewares and furnishings to make you feel right at home.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Does my company have rates available for housing?
    • USC does have preferred rates. Please contact Ericka Morales for more information.
  • What is not included in my apartment?
    • Long distance telephone charges
    • Any premium cable channels you elect to subscribe to
    • "Non‐standard" parking options such as covered parking (if free, uncovered parking is already provided)
    • Any other upgraded amenities that are not provided as part of the standard apartment rental agreement or deemed to be necessary utilities
    • Damages – Any damages to the apartment and furniture will be charged to your personal credit card
  • Where will my apartment community be located?
    • We strive to house guests in locations as close to the worksite as possible. All apartment communities used for guest housing are approved by USC. You will be notified of your assigned apartment community 14 days prior to your work start date.
  • How do I make a reservation?
    • Please use the "Request for Housing" button located at the bottom of the page to complete your housing request.
  • How will I receive confirmation?
    • Oakwood will e-mail your apartment address and roommate information to you 14 days prior to your program start date. A credit card is required for all reservations. A credit card authorization form will also be sent to you via email 14 days prior to your program start date.
  • Why do I have to provide a credit card if I have direct billing arrangements?
    • A credit card is required to confirm your reservation and cover any damages incurred during the stay. This includes, but is not limited to, costs for repairing damages caused by you or your guests, except for normal wear and tear. Guests will be liable for payment of lost keys, gate passes, and garage door openers if applicable. Charges will also be incurred for these items (keys, gate passes, and garage door openers if applicable) if these items are not returned within 5 business days after departure date.
    • Should you choose to upgrade cable packages, add long distance calling to your phone service or add on any other items, a separate credit card authorization form will be required to authorize the additional upgrades and to apply the charges to your personal account.
  • When will I know my property address?
    • Your Oakwood Apartment Community and Roommate(s) will be assigned no less than 7 days prior to your program start date. Your Oakwood Representative will e-mail you the name and address of the apartment community, as well as your roommate's name and contact information. Your unit number, detailed arrival instructions, and where to collect your keys at the property will be e-mailed to you three business days prior to your move-in date.
  • Are smoking apartments available?
    • Oakwood does not restrict smoking as part of our lease agreements. However, apartment communities where our guests reside may implement smoking policies. Oakwood expects our guests to comply with community policies while residing in these communities.
  • May I bring a pet?
    • No pets are permitted, with the exception of documented service animals. Exceptions are dealt with on a case by case basis and require company approval with signed documentation. Guests are financially responsible for non-refundable pet deposits, cleaning fees, and damages.
  • What is Oakwood’s method for pairing roommates?
    • Roommates are assigned based on a set of specific criteria outlined by USC.
  • What if I want to arrive earlier or stay later than the company policy allows?
    • If the apartment is available, you are allowed to arrive as early, or extend your stay for as long as you like at your own expense. You will be responsible for the rent for days stayed outside of the company policy. Please coordinate any early arrivals or late departures through your Oakwood representative.
  • Why am I being placed into a hotel?
    • On rare occasions, hotels may be used to temporarily house guests until the apartment can be made ready. This may be due to overlapping work dates or necessary renovations to the apartment.
  • Is it possible to make a reservation for less than 30 days?
    • Oakwood Worldwide offers properties that only require a 7 night minimum stay. Please contact our team more information. The following properties in Los Angeles, CA accept stays of less than 30 days: Playa del Oro, Eleven Eleven Wilshire (Downtown), Palazzo Westwood, Wilshire / LaBrea, Oakwood MDR, Oakwood Toluca Lake, Oakwood Woodland Hills, Eleven 950 (West Los Angeles)

Guests who choose the ExecuStay brand can earn Marriott Rewards points for stays at any ExecuStay location in the U.S. Members earn points that can be used at over 3,700 hotels in 70+ countries, across 14 distinctive Marriott brands.  Points can also be redeemed for more resorts, golf courses, spas and diverse experiences than with any other hospitality program.

Members who stay for 30 nights or more at ExecuStay, will receive 2.5 points for every U.S. dollar spent on rental expenses and fees. Members also earn one night toward Elite status for every three nights stayed.
